History<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Pleasant View Baptist Church was constituted July 29, 1910.\u00a0 There were 36 charter members.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

The first meeting of Pleasant View Baptist Church was held in the Fagan schoolhouse and in a Brush Arbor that was located near the old school house.\u00a0 George and Lucy Fagan, D.S. and Georgia Ann Glover, and John A. and Haimer Brannon donated the land for the church.\u00a0 The members built the church building in 1911.\u00a0 The dedication service for the laying of the new church cornerstone was held in 1952.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

In 2010, Pleasant View Baptist Church celebrated its one hundred year anniversary.\u00a0 Although times are very different than they were when the church was founded and constructed, Pleasant View continues to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and His saving power.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n
